A pair of beautiful feminine yet worked-up hands, with properly trimmed and blush pink painted nails clutched onto his crisp white collar. The rage was seeping through her fingers, enough to burn the lad's skin if not for the fabric that she was grabbing on.

"I swear, main tumhara vo haal karungi ki tum is moment ka ek-ek second regret karoge Rudra Pratap. Tumhari zindagi to main palatti hun." 

Her voice was dripping with pure fury, eyes burning a hole through him, teeth-gritting tight – trying to suppress her anger that knew no bounds at the very moment. She exhaled a breath of warm air forcefully to calm herself. Her grip was ever so tight on his collar. Well, his reaction?

He grinned.

Samridhi Niwas – one of the most luxurious mansions in the city, worthy of housing the billionaire family of 7; soon to be 8, was the residence of one of the wealthiest families in the country. It resided every member that a family needs to feel complete. 

Who are they you ask?

 Well, a caring father with a loving mother, a mature and responsible elder son with an understanding wife, and two beautiful kids of his own. And let's not forget, most importantly a useless self-centered spoiled brat who played the role of the younger son.

Samridhi Niwas is a perfect reflection of its name - prosperity's residence.

It was a giant two-story mansion with a pearl-white exterior and cool blue details. The definition of luxury, much expected from The Prataps.  The mansion is elegant yet extravagant. It was not just their way of living that screamed wealth but also their personality, as if, each one of them was born to be fed from a golden spoon instead of a silver one.

The eldest and the head of the family was Shri Tej Singh Pratap – a kind man with a strong demeanor. He was the righteousness personified in every sense. Tej had zero tolerance for wrong and false bonuses, a big heart, and a warm smile. Given his name, he was just as radiant as a man could get.

"Kahan reh gaya ye ladka? I want him back soon. Aaj iska ye do baje ghar aane vala drama nahi chalega."

{Where is this boy? I want him back soon. Today his late-night arrivals won't be entertained.}

With that big white well-maintained beard, lion-like eyes, and strong muscular tall body he looked the role of an assertive yet gentle businessman, a caring father. Well, his favorite role is that of the sweetest grandfather in the whole wide world as written by his grandkids on a crumpled-up handmade greeting card for grandparent's day. 

He may be wealthy and flourishing right now but this was not always the case. 

Tej navigated his way through the business world based on his sheer will and the experiences he gained along the way. He had seen the turmoil of life as he grew his father's business to be well known, not just across the state but also the country.

The Old Pratap retired from being the CEO of the VPE: Vijayin Pratap Empire and was now part-time President of the company plus a full-time grandfather with properties of Santa Claus. He loved it.

This strong lion had his lioness who was the only match to his rage and fury at the desperate times, Shrimati Sandhya Tej Singh Pratap. She was cool to his wrath, the support to his stumble, and the head of the house. Had married him at his roughest patch in life, Sandhya came to know Tej's worsts and bests, making her capable of reading him like a kid's book. Too easy to understand.

"Maine call kar dia tha, raaste mein hoga. Aap dinner table pe ao."

Sandhya was the image of pure motherly affection with eyes that always dripped love like honey. She was a woman with streaks of white hair that added detail to her otherwise jet-black curly hair in addition to her tall height that was more than average 5'6 found in the country but still was no match to her husband's 6'3 stature. 

When Tej was trying his hardest to provide his best for his family, Sandhya was the one who made that family come to life by giving birth to their two sons who imitated their father by having strong personalities of their own. Sandhya always knew what Tej needed, wanted, or desired, and to be honest she was not just a mere sweet submissive wife, having an only option to say, but instead was trained by her husband to speak up when needed.

The eldest of the two Pratap sons is the current CEO of Pratap's billion-dollar empire – Abhay Singh Pratap. 

Just like his name, Abhay was fearless in every sense possible then be it taking risks regarding business and the market or crossing limits for his family. Titled 'Akula' in the business world meaning shark, Abhay was one for a shark in the hunting grounds and is fearless and a keen observant of opportunities. And if sharks can smell the blood from miles away then Abhay can smell the best opportunities from seas away resulting in the present success of Pratap's empire.

 His fearless nature made it easy for him to stand tall and unbothered in the business world from a young age, facing everything with a mock smile as if the troubles and turbulences meant nothing more than a few pebbles on his clear way up to the top.

"Papa, dinner pe focus karte hai, and agar maa keh rahi hai to he will be here soon."

He was a tall handsome man in his late thirties with a calm personality. Abhay stood at the height of 6'4, with a buff body, a tidy beard that complimented his mature features, and naturally wide shoulders.

 Speaking of appearance, he resembled Tej pretty closely with the same stoic and strict demeanour as his father. He always held a calm yet tired gaze, tired not because he was physically exhausted but because he was tired of people's bullshit. His half-lidded eyes only widened on seeing his better half and their two little creations.

The lady responsible for making Abhay Singh Pratap feel calm despite the hell load of work and non-sensical worries is the innocent and calm Ishika Abhay Singh Pratap.

The personal administrative assistant to the CEO of VPE, daughter-in-law of Prataps, and the mother of two balls of sunshine of the Samridhi Niwas, Ishika was the perfect partner for Abhay not just in the sense of business and administration but in regard to their marital life. She was the one who made him smile through the harshest nights and gave him tears of joy when she brought their two pretty and chaotic kids to their family.

"Vaise bhi, jis speed pe bhaiya apni bike bhagate hai vo aadha rasta cover bhi kar chuke honge. Aane vale honge bas."

Coming from a rich family, Ishika was bubbly and down to earth, never letting the money get to her head.

She is a beautiful woman, three years younger than her husband, with a fair tone that was in contrast to her long brunette locks and pear-shaped body. She stood at a height of 5'4, yet her confidence was something that surpassed her husband's. 

Ishika was what Sandhya was to Tej and this alone was enough for Abhay to sleep in peace, knowing that he had her for the next seven lives because if not for her, he would have been already devoured by the darkness and fights of the business world. 

She was the one who assured Abhay at all times, by counting his victories to him while he was blinded by the sight of his failures. It was she who gave Abhay the peace he was running after and searching for but then she also took his peace away by bringing two whirlwinds to his very life.

Advit and Arohi Pratap, the showstoppers of the Pratap family and the attention seekers, were the creations of the elder Pratap son and his lady love. Eight and five respectively, these two had everyone's love in their control. They can have their names written in the "Guinness Book of World Records" as the youngest manipulative duo in the world. 

They were the only ones who could grab onto the stoic Tej Singh Pratap's beard and make it out alive, create a blunder in the house, and still make Sandhya Pratap laugh till she tears up. They were the only ones who held the power to make Abhay Singh Pratap miss his meetings just because he was called to school after the duo brought a puppy into the campus. These two had the superpowers to make the calm Ishita Pratap go into a frenzy and ease her down again with their cries and puppy eyes.

While this duo was surrounded by all mature and boring elders, there was just the one who matched their vibe and never gave in to their innocent gaze or baby pouts. The second born of Tej and Sandhya Pratap, the only sibling to fearless Abhay Singh Pratap, the self-obsessed brother-in-law of Ishika Pratap, and the head of the menace Pratap trio comprising him, Advit and Arohi, was the only crazy wild horse of the family - RUDRA PRATAP.
